Principal's Message

Welcome!

My name is Hector Guerrero and I am honored to serve as Principal of El Camino High School at Ventura College. My career in education spans across 20 years, with experience as a teacher, assistant principal and principal in the Ventura Unified School District. I believe that my most essential job is to advocate for all students and provide them with a safe, healthy and rigorous school program.

At El Camino, we are committed to developing strong partnerships with parents, students and our community to ensure that the academic and social-emotional needs of all of our students are met.

I look forward to the work we will accomplish together to strengthen our school and reach our student goals. I encourage all parents to become involved in our school and participate in our Parent Leadership Team, School Site Council, and all school events.

I am thankful to have the opportunity to collaborate with you. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
